Andrey Carlos Da Silva Filho

Andrey Fernandes is an Economist and Actor fueled by a profound belief in the transformative power of human connection and effective communication. Born and raised in a city in the interior of Brazil, Andrey moved to Rio de Janeiro at the age of 19 to study Economics at Brazil's largest federal university. Andrey distinguished himself as a trailblazer, founding and presiding over the inaugural financial market league at his campus. Simultaneously, he immersed himself in the realm of Performing Arts, discovering an abiding passion that would eventually evolve into a second vocation. He also participated in a junior company and was a monitor of the Foreign Trade subject.  Still in Rio, he worked in sales and commercial at an investment brokerage and then for a multinational consultancy. 

He made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles at the age of 26, embarking on a transformative journey to pursue an MBA at Sofia University. Within the vibrant academic community of Sofia University, Andrey has taken the lead by serving as the esteemed president of SoFoodies, the university's flagship club that unites passions for food and fosters meaningful connections among peers.
