Candida Crasto
Candida Crasto (she/her) is in the process of completing the MACP program at Sofia University and is pursuing her licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Candida is also dedicated to self-directed research on the sociocultural factors which shape shame and stigma surrounding sex and identity. She has presented this research at Sofia University’s first Global Conference (2023) and delivered a clinically-focused workshop at the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Leadership Symposium (2024). Candida has had the privilege of living and working in many countries and professional environments and deeply values the sharing and connection that happens at the collective level. As a core team member of the EIDA committee she hopes to help create an environment where people can engage in meaningful and expansive conversations. In her free time she enjoys laughing, playing, painting, podcasting and meeting new people.
