Dan Cai, PhD

Prof. Dr. Dan Cai,  Shanghai Oriental Scholar Distinguished Professor, Shuguang Scholar, Pujiang Talent. He is the Executive Director of the Child Development and Family Research Center at Shanghai Normal University, Deputy Director of the Youth Work Committee of the Chinese Psychological Society, Member of the Shanghai School Mental Health Education Expert Committee, Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Psychological Society. 

 

He was graduated from the Institute of Development and Educational Psychology at the School of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences, East China Normal University, and a visiting scholar and postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Educational Psychology, University of Alberta, Canada. Serving as the editor of Psychological Science Frontiers in Rehabilitation Sciences, editorial board member of journals such as the Journal of Educational Biology, and reviewer of multiple academic journals in psychology both domestically and internationally. Hosted over ten national and provincial-level projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education, and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. Published nearly 50 core papers focused on children's cognitive development, mathematics learning, family education, and adolescent mental health.
