Harris L. Friedman, PhD
Harris L. Friedman, PhD, is Research Professor of Psychology (Retired) at University of Florida. He teaches and supervises doctoral dissertations at several universities in the US and globally. Previously, he has held several leadership positions in education and healthcare, and has worked in over a dozen countries as a change consultant. He serves as the Senior Editor of the International Journal of Transpersonal Studies and as the Associate Editor of the Humanistic Psychologist. He has published more than 200 scholarly papers, as well as over a dozen books. He is a Fellow of both the American Psychological Association and Association of Psychological Science. He received his PhD in Clinical Psychology at Georgia State University with a concentration in Transpersonal Psychology, and holds Diplomas both in Clinical Psychology and in Organizational Consulting Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is past President of both the International Transpersonal Association and the Association for Transpersonal Psychology. He continues to provide coaching and organizational consulting throughout the world.
